The structural fabric of the building has been retained and re-clad, whilst the interiors have been given a contemporary rustic feel through the use of polished concrete, internal timber cladding and linen. Original timber sleds now form coffee tables, whilst a local granite block has been carved to create the central island fireplace.

The enormous east-facing windows provide fantastic views across the valley to Mont Blanc and the perfect setting to entertain on a grand scale with family and friends in the main double height living space. When it’s time to relax, tuck yourself away to watch a movie, detox in the sauna in the original ‘cave’ or watch the stars with a glass of champagne in the Norwegian wood-fired hot tub on the rear terrace.
